Some of the artists that are featured on the show include The Beatles, The Byrds, The Mamas &amp; The Papas, Jefferson Airplane, The Doors, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Cream, Donovan, Simon &amp; Garfunkel, The Zombies, Crosby, Stills, Nash &amp; Young, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and many more.</span><br><br><span>The show also features trivia, requests, and interviews with some of the legends of rock and roll. Rick Skeen also posts playlists and videos of the songs on his Facebook page, where he interacts with his fans and friends. Anything can happen on The Afternoon Show, and often does.</p>
<p>Tune in for the music and stay for the laughs, surprise guest pop-ins, and off-the-wall discussions (usually involving cats and cupcakes). Josh was raised by wolves in Brooklyn and was introduced to radio by his older brother at the age of seven. He spent his teen years as an apprentice to DIY radio wizards (think Marconi being Dumbledore&rsquo;s step-son) which later culminated in a glorious week of broadcasting with Radio NewYork International from a ship manchored off the Long Island coast.</p>
<p>Josh has had a long and bizarre career in the music/media industry, including working for Rough Trade Records, Virgin Records (where he once had to get Keith Richards a case of Rebel Yell whiskey), and the legendary California punk label, Frontier Records.
