Hurl Brickbat is a hard rock group from Charleston, West Virginia, formed in March of 2015. With various lineup changes, the band finally found a solid foundation in 2017 with the lineup consisting of Chris Carter on guitar and lead vocals, James Hairston on drums and Stephen Harper on Bass. Their influences vary from 90's alternative rock/metal, late 90's/early 2000's progressive rock, and bits of psychedelic and romanticized atmosphere in the mix. Their first album, which was self titled, was released on March 31st of 2017. The album was produced by Aaron Fisher, and mixed by Micah Carli of Popside Recording in Troy, Ohio. Their second album, "Blooms" was released on May 22nd, 2021, and was mixed/produced by Brad Kinder and Tony Daniels of Big River Records.
